  • Choir

    Director - Mrs. Adrienne Laigaie

    The Wildwood Middle School choir class is a performance based class for students who have an interest in singing and have a desire to improve their vocal technique. The choir performs at a number of events throughout the year, two of which are the winter and spring concerts.  The middle school choir is under the direction of Adrienne C. Laigaie.  Mrs. Laigaie is a music educator at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School, Wildwood Middle School and Wildwood High School.  She studied music at Westminster Choir College and Lebanon Valley College.


    Concert Band 

    Musical Director - Ms. Linda McDonald

    The Band is open to all students who have successfully completed 6th grade band, or by audition. Along with performing at the winter and spring concerts, the band performs at various adjudications and competitions throughout the year. In addition to rehearsing during the school day, the students also receive lessons on their respective instruments once a week. Charl Syvarth is the director.


    National Junior Honor Society

    Proctor - Angela LoBiondo

    Wildwood Middle School NJHS is a club which offers students the opportunity to be recognized for their achievements, and a chance to practice using leadership skills while providing service to the greater community. Seventh grade students who maintain a 3.0 GPA may apply for membership in their 8th grade year. Members participate in fundraisers, collect items for the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey and are recognized for their achievements during the induction ceremony and graduation.


    W.A.V.E. 21

    The Wildwood Public Schools 21st Century Community Learning Center After School Program provides a safe learning environment and quality after-school program to students, which supports their success through social, cultural, physical and intellectual development. The program strives to ensure that all students are able to participate in inquiry-based, innovative, hands-on, fun activities that facilitate creativity, curiosity, and intuitiveness. Students are encouraged to take planned activities in a direction that interests them.
