    WILDWOOD SCHOOL BOARD SINCE: 2018
    TERM EXPIRES: 2024

Roberta-Joy (Bobbi-Jo) Taylor was elected to the Board of Education in November 2018 and is serving her first term.  Ms. Taylor has over 20 years’ experience in the human services field working both directly with consumers and in management and staff development.  She is currently employed by the County of Cape May where she holds the title of Administrative Supervisor of Social Work at the Department of Human Services, Division of Social Services.  Ms. Taylor earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2018, and is a Licensed Social Worker.  With an understanding that policy drives practice, she was inspired to become more involved in decisions that impact the children of our community and hopes to make a positive contribution through her service.

Ms. Taylor is a life-long Wildwood resident and 1992 graduate of Wildwood High School.  She was employed by the Board of Education as a teacher’s aide while working towards her undergraduate degree of Sociology/Anthropology from Stockton College in 2000.  Ms. Taylor’s son has attended the Wildwood Public Schools since pre-k and is a freshman at Wildwood High School.  Her mother and role model for helping others, Mary Taylor, worked in the Wildwood school cafeteria for over 30 years filling both the students’ bellies and hearts through her kindness.  Throughout her different life stages and roles, Ms. Taylor has maintained a passion for and investment in the success of our school district. She is particularly proud of the longstanding diversity of the district, the dedication and enthusiasm of staff, and the many advances she has witnessed in technology and programming of the Wildwood Public Schools.
